This wonderful little pub is a must see while visiting the Bruce Peninsula. Perched above the blue waters of Big Tub Harbour, an excellent vantage point to watch the boat come and go from the resort's marina.
The interior of the pub is steeped in maritime history, taking you back to a time when merchant sailors used the harbour as a safe-haven against winter storms. Folklore abounds in the area with tales of illegal bootlegging and ships lost at sea. Some of those ships now rest at the bottom of our harbour.
The menu is diverse including such favorites as Hook, Line Caesar Wrap, Beer Onion Soup, Pineapple Currey Chicken Skewers and Mesquite Whiskey Ribs just to name a few. We also have an excellent kids' menu with activities to keep the little sailors happy!
Enjoy live entertainment by a variety of local musicians. In true pub style, everyone is welcome to join in the fun at Bootlegger's Cove Pub.
After dinner be sure to take a short stroll to the Big Tub Lighthouse where you can watch the Chi-Cheemaun arrive at port while the sun sets on the water.
